I created this book with a target audience of younger kids (around the age of ten). The purpose of the book is to educate kids on trees—in particular how to identify trees based on tree height, shade tolerance, trunk diameter, type of tree, and leaves/pine cones that the tree produces.

I also created a supplementary app called "Tree Me" that can be used to identify trees on the go. In the app you create an account, and then you can start identifying trees using a quiz or your camera. Every time you accomplish a new challenge or identify trees, you gain XP (experience) and can advance to higher levels. You are also able to add friends to compete and chat with. Basically this is app is like "Pokemon Go!", but for trees!
